The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), an Executive Agency of the Home Office, provides wider access to criminal record information through its Disclosure service.  This enables organisations to make safer recruitment decisions by identifying candidates who may be unsuitable for certain work, especially that involve children or vulnerable adults.  Things to do in asks providers of activities to inform us if staff have been CRB checked, but we do not verify this so would recommend that you ask the provider for evidence of CRB checks and child protection and health and safety policies.
