Bretton Boys Junior Football Club under 14's Side, Established in 2004

Playing in the Charles Rice league and affiliated to the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Football Association in 2004.
Bretton Boys started as an under 13's side, going into the Under 13's Combination League and have continued to play football with a competitive nature along with a positive sportsmanship from each individual player.

The clubs manager is Gavin Logan who has a F.A. Level One Coaching Certificate which also includes Child Protection and First Aid. Previously Gavin was assistant manager of Ward Green under 12's, who won promotion to the Premier League and also coached the Ward Green over 35's team to a cup final and promotion in there first season.

Assistant manager is Phil Rich, his role is to help Gavin and to develope and support the players, this is Phil’s first season in junior football and he will use this season to gain knowledge and awareness and will eventually take the level one coaching certificate.


Bretton Boys Junior Football Club under 13's Side, Established in 2005

1st Season

Playing in the Charles Rice league and affiliated to the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Football Association in 2005.
Bretton Boys are starting as an under 13's side, going into the Under 13's Trophy League and have continued to play football with a competitive nature along with a positive sportsmanship from each individual player.

The clubs manager is Mick Foster who has a F.A. Level One Coaching Certificate which also includes Child Protection and First Aid. Last season he managed the Darfield Longbow under 12's team. During the summer of this year, decided to join Bretton Boys to manage the newly formed under 13's team, again playing in the Charles Rice League.

Assistant manager Paul Gleadall who has a F.A. Level One Coaching Certificate which also includes Child Protection and First Aid. Paul will help coach and develop the under13's side.


Bretton Boys Junior Football Club under 9's Side, Established in April 2005

1st Season

Playing in 'Two Teams' under 9's League associated the PPA Millennium Junior Football League 2005.
Bretton Boys are starting as an under 9's side, going into the Under 9's League and are establishing themselves a great team in the making through development, coaching and support from management and supporters.

The clubs manager is Kevin Ince. Last year assisted the under 13's championship winning team. During the summer he agreed to manage the newly formed under 9's team.

Assistant manager David Lee, who is new to junior football, he is wanting to gain knowledge about junior football to enable him to successfully pass his Level One Coaching Certificate. David helps coach and develop the under 9's side.

Training is held every Saturday at 10:30 untill 12:00 on the Londoner Field, Monk Bretton Community Site and regularly on Wednesday evenings at 18:00.

Many extra activities/fun days/events take place to promote the club and to continue to develop and support the teams. Please check out our website for more up and coming events!

The club now run teams from the following age groups: Under 8's, 9's, 10's, 12's, 15's, 16's, 17's, and Under 15's girls.
