Article: Majors & Minors
Majors & Minors is not your 'normal' music school. We aim to further pupil's musical abilities on their instrument while at the same time learn a wealth of songs from pop and rock to funk and reggae.
Students are encouraged to perform and practice together. We dedicate at least one hour each session to 'ensemble' time!
A set-list of four to six songs are worked on through a term but we have extra little performances from pupils and sometimes tutors.
If you love music and want to learn then this is what you are looking for. Practice hard, join our network of young musicians and reap the rewards.
We only run during school term time on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Extra sessions are run which include further practise time, collaboration with other pupils for separate songs etc, other activities such as building the M&M website, making banners and posters etc.
